On November 23, a trilateral meeting of representatives of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan, the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Trade of Turkey was held in the online format, the website of the Customs Department of Turkmenistan reported.

The meeting was organized on the initiative of the Turkmen side and aimed at implementing the Memorandum of Understanding between the governments of the three countries on the establishment of a joint Consultative Group on Customs Cooperation. 

This document is designed to facilitate the simplification of customs procedures for the accelerated movement of goods between the three countries, mutual exchange of information, creation of conditions for the development of mutual trade and strengthening cooperation.
