Issues regarding the expansion of Turkmen-Turkish business cooperation, increasing bilateral trade volumes, and the implementation of new joint investment and production projects were discussed during a working visit by a Turkmen delegation to Istanbul in late June.

The business delegation, led by the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, Mergen Gurdov, held meetings with the heads of leading economic and business associations in Turkey. This included discussions with Adem Kula, Secretary General of the Union of Turkic Chambers of Commerce and Industry, as well as Ali Kopuz, First Vice-President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).

Both sides emphasized the importance of expanding business contacts and creating favorable conditions for the further growth of bilateral economic cooperation and the strengthening of ties between the commercial and industrial structures of the two countries.
