On March 17, the grand opening of the exhibition of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan took place in the Turkmen capital. The large-scale event is traditionally timed to coincide with the founding day of this large public organization, which celebrates 16 years since its founding this year.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a congratulatory message to the exhibition participants, noting the achievements of the UIET and the role of the non-state sector in the national economy.

More than 200 exhibitors present their stands at the Expo Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. These include structural divisions and regional branches of the UIET, private enterprises and business societies specializing in agriculture, food and processing industries, construction, production of building materials and electrical equipment, household appliances, as well as in trade, education, tourism, and social services. , transport and logistics sectors, in folk crafts, etc.

Particular emphasis is placed on demonstrating the achievements of the UIET in solving problems in the production of import-substituting and export-oriented products.

A wonderful gift for visitors to the exhibition was the fashion show from private fashion houses, which presented models of spring-summer collections, distinguished by an original approach to creating clothes in the national style.

As part of the exhibition, a conference of UIET members will be held on March 18.

The exhibition dedicated to the 16th anniversary of the UIET will continue its work until March 19.

Let us recall that the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, created in 2008, unites more than 28 thousand representatives of domestic private business. The share of the non-state sector in the national economy is 71.4 percent.
