Turkmen-Turkish business forum and exhibition of Turkmen commodity producers were held in Ankara on October 26, 2023. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who was on an official visit to the Republic of Turkey, took part in the forum.

Addressing the business community of Turkey, the head of Turkmenistan outlined a number of key areas of cooperation, including energy, construction, transportation and investment cooperation.

One of the topics of the Turkmen President's speech on the margins of the business event was the potential of cooperation between the two countries in the trade and economic sphere and bringing this interaction to a new level.

In this context, it was proposed to hold the next Turkmen-Turkish Business Forum in Ashgabat along with an exhibition of Turkish export goods to be held on December 6-8 this year.

Following the business forum, Turkmen and Turkish businessmen signed a number of documents on cooperation in various spheres, including production of construction materials, agro-industrial complex and food industry, purchase of specialized equipment, etc. The Turkmen-Turkish business forum was held in Ashgabat.

The Turkmen exposition in the foyer of the Central Office of the Union of Chambers and Exchanges of Turkey (UCET) presented products manufactured in Turkmenistan, including a wide range of textile industry products: various types of clothing for children and adults, home textiles, fabrics, gift sets, handmade carpets and products of domestic entrepreneurs.
