On September 19th, Ashgabat marked the 33rd anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence with the opening of a comprehensive exhibition showcasing the country's economic achievements. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov addressed the event, expressing confidence that this exhibition would serve as a platform to unveil innovative projects and proposals, setting the stage for future accomplishments.

The grand opening was attended by government officials, members of the Mejlis, representatives from ministries and departments, the administrations of Ashgabat, Arkadag, and the velayats, heads and representatives of diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in Turkmenistan, as well as representatives from public associations, the business community, and the media.  

The expansive exhibition featured stands and pavilions representing various ministries, departments, and members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. Exhibits encompassed a wide range of sectors, including economics, energy, industry, oil and gas, petrochemicals, textiles, construction, education, culture, art, and handicrafts.

The forum also showcased new products from state-owned and private enterprises, along with investment projects. Additionally, the exhibition hosted workshops on various types of handicrafts.

The exhibition is being held at the exhibition grounds behind the "Garagum" hotel and will be open to the public until September 21st.
