In his address at the meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on the development of the country's trade sector and its export potential.

As the head of state noted, the trade complex is one of the leading sectors of the national economy. Goods marked "Made in Turkmenistan" are in high demand on the global market. Their distribution channels are expanding, and at the same time, the volume of export products of domestic production is increasing.

The President emphasized the importance of further strengthening international partnerships, noting the significant role of exhibitions and conferences held in the country on a regular basis.

In the context of increasing Turkmenistan's export potential, the head of state noted significant reforms carried out to modernize the textile industry, including the construction of complexes for the production of high-quality goods.

The head of Turkmenistan also focused on the development of the world-famous national art of carpet weaving, noting that the state is taking targeted measures to further popularize and improve it. "In general, we will continue to increase the production capacity of the industry by launching new specialized enterprises in the future," said President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

In his speech, the head of state highly appreciated the activities of the members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan in various fields. "In a very short time, they have achieved impressive results. Entrepreneurs are making a significant contribution to the establishment of high-tech production facilities for the production of products that have competitive advantages and are focused on export," the President of Turkmenistan noted, announcing the continuation of reforms for the further development of small, medium, and large businesses.
