Today, November 26, the international exhibition "International Transport and Transit Corridors: Interconnection and Development - 2024 (ITTC-2024)" opened at the Exhibition Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. The event, organized by the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan jointly with «Belly" ES is attended by high-ranking government officials, transport industry experts, and representatives of international organizations, as well as state and private structures of the country, numerous local and foreign transport and logistics companies.

Among the exhibitors of the specialized review is the National Organization of Turkmenistan for Barcodes, GS1Turkmenistan, whose stand presents information about the organization's large-scale activities to introduce a global multi-industry system of identification, barcoding, and electronic communications into the practice of various sectors of the national economy.

Visitors to the industry review can learn about the contribution of NOTSHK to the practical implementation of projects related to the economic efficiency of the domestic transport and logistics system, as well as to simplifying transit procedures through automation and digitalization.

NOTSHK marks the products of Turkmen manufacturers in accordance with international standards and actively promotes the digitalization and automation of cargo transportation processes to ensure full transparency of the entire supply chain, from source to consumer, regardless of the mode of transport. In particular, the introduction of GS1 identification keys into the transport and logistics system contributes to the identification, collection, and exchange of information about the movement of products, and the digitalization of daily business processes not only improves interaction between stakeholders but also creates a highly efficient, sustainable, and collaborative logistics environment.
