Turkmenistan to Train World-Class Entrepreneurs

On September 1, with the participation of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, the International University of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs opened in Ashgabat.
This is the first private university in Turkmenistan. Its structure includes a language department, a professional development department, faculties of economics and enterprise management, agribusiness, digital technologies, and architecture and construction. It also houses 14 departments and 42 laboratories.
The opening ceremony included the presentation of international certificates and awards that confirm the high-quality standards of the new university's buildings and its commitment to training highly qualified, international-level specialists.
The university received special awards as a unique architectural educational institution in Turkic states, and as an outstanding and exemplary higher education institution that promotes cooperation between universities and industry and makes a worthy contribution to the fields of entrepreneurship and innovation.
The international certification organization "CERT International" presented a certificate confirming that the quality management system for educational activities at the International University of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs complies with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2015.
The university also received certificates confirming that its laboratory facilities meet local and international standards, and that the POLIGHT lighting equipment and furniture installed there are designed in accordance with the international standards ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018, and comply with established requirements.
The certificates and awards received by the International University of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs attest to its compliance with high international standards of quality, equipment, and technology.
In the near future, the university will establish educational, scientific, and industrial partnerships with leading global higher education institutions, as well as manufacturing and business companies. It will also bring in foreign professors and specialists to teach.
The university's predominantly practical approach to education will help students study and solve problems in the country's industrial and manufacturing sectors. This approach will integrate academic knowledge and experience, strengthening the link between science and education, as well as production and the labor market.
