An exhibition of the economic achievements of Turkmenistan, traditionally timed to coincide with the country's main holiday, Independence Day, has ceremoniously opened in Ashgabat.

Among the more than one hundred exhibitors at the large-scale event, held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Expo Center, is the National Organization of Turkmenistan for Barcodes (GS1 Turkmenistan).

The GS1 Turkmenistan stand features information about the organization’s activities in line with the state’s economic policy, its successes in boosting trade integration processes and increasing the export potential of Turkmen producers, as well as its promising directions for work in the context of the country’s innovative development.
