A business forum involving representatives of the business communities of Turkmenistan and Italy is taking place in Rome, Italy. The delegation from the Turkmen side includes the Chairwoman of the National Organization of Turkmenistan for Barcodes, GS1 Turkmenistan, Aykamar Malikgulyyeva, and her Deputy, Ayna Mamiliyeva.

The forum aims to expand cooperation between the two countries in the fields of energy, transport, and the private sector.

Representatives of the business circles are discussing the implementation of joint projects and investments in the trade and economic sector, the activation of industrial cooperation between the two states through economic cooperation tools, as well as the promotion of entrepreneurial missions and the attraction of companies from various strategic sectors.

The Turkmen-Italian Business Forum is timed to coincide with the official visit of the President of Turkmenistan to the Italian Republic.
