Chairwoman of GS1 Turkmenistan Participates in Turkmenistan Economic Days in Germany

The Turkmenistan Economic Days, jointly organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan with the assistance of TMT Consulting Group, took place in Frankfurt am Main on October 30-31.

Representatives of key ministries and sectoral agencies of Turkmenistan, as well as the heads of major German companies and financial institutions, gathered in the conference hall of the Radisson Blu hotel. Aykamar Malikgulyyeva, Chairman of the National Organization of Turkmenistan for Barcodes, GS1 Turkmenistan, participated in the large-scale event as part of the representative Turkmen delegation.

The forum served as a key platform for presenting Turkmenistan's economic potential and discussing opportunities for cooperation with European companies.

The forum participants were addressed by Nokerguły Atagulyyew, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, and Michael Harms, Executive Director of the German Eastern Business Association (Ost-Ausschuss der Deutschen Wirtschaft).

In his speech, Nokerguły Atagulyyew summarized the implementation of the bilateral cooperation "Roadmap," clearly outlined the fundamental conditions for investors, and highlighted new promising areas for German technologies.

The work of four thematic sessions focused on strategic directions for bilateral partnership, covering:

  • Trade
  • Energy and Construction
  • Industry
  • Agriculture and Agrotechnologies
  • Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals
  • Transport and Infrastructure

Bilateral meetings (B2B and B2G) were also held on the sidelines of the forum, providing a direct platform for Turkmen and German companies to discuss specific projects, investments, and the creation of industrial alliances.

Documents on bilateral cooperation, securing the agreements reached, were signed during the event.
