Ashgabat will host Turkmenistan-China business forum and exhibition

From April 28 to 30, 2026, the capital of Turkmenistan will host the Turkmenistan-China Business Forum and Exhibition. Deputy Prime Minister Nokerguly Atagulyev reported on the preparations for these events during a recent government meeting.

According to the report, more than 80 state institutions from the People's Republic of China, focused on international cooperation, as well as companies specializing in various sectors, have already registered for the forum. The registration process for participants is currently ongoing.

Chinese companies intending to participate in the exhibition represent a diverse range of industries, including:

  • Mechanical engineering and technological equipment
  • Oil and gas, energy, and chemical industries
  • Construction, agriculture, and environmental protection
  • Transport, logistics, and digital systems
  • Internet services and the electronics industry

From the Turkmen side, heads and representatives of relevant ministries, sectoral departments, and members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs are expected to participate in the business forum and bilateral meetings. The forum aims to discuss prospects for further developing intergovernmental trade and economic cooperation.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has instructed officials to ensure that both the Turkmenistan-China Business Forum and the exhibition are held at a high organizational level, as reported by TDH.
