The "Turkmentextile Expo – 2026" international exhibition and fair opened on June 4 at the Expo Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. Approximately 110 exhibitors are participating. These include enterprises of the Ministry of Textile Industry, members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs working in this sector, as well as foreign companies – manufacturers and suppliers of specialized equipment, dyes and chemicals for the textile industry, raw materials, packaging, and production materials.

This large-scale exhibition provides an opportunity to showcase the achievements and potential of the country's textile industry, present new products, and build mutually beneficial business relationships with foreign partners.

The first day of the exhibition included an international fashion show featuring designers from Turkmenistan, France, Morocco, Oman, Uzbekistan, and Russia.

The business program will include a series of thematic sessions on sustainable cotton production and textile certification. Specifically, presentations are expected on Better Cotton and Fairtrade standards, supply chain requirements, and the experiences of Central Asian countries in preparing for certification.

Foreign guests will visit leading textile enterprises in the Turkmen capital.

The international exhibition and fair "Turkmenextile Expo – 2026" will conclude on June 6.
