Specific ways to develop mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation between the two countries were discussed during the Turkmen-Georgian business forum, which was held in conjunction with the state visit of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to Georgia.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the forum, the Head of Turkmenistan emphasized its significance in advancing trade, economic, and investment ties. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on Turkmenistan's key economic indicators, its investment potential, and the favorable conditions created by the state for the private sector.

Noting the results already achieved in Turkmen-Georgian economic cooperation, the Head of the Turkmen State highlighted the need to further develop relations based on private entrepreneurship. Promising areas for joint work were identified, including transport and logistics, communications, supply chain systems, the development of maritime terminals, the transit of goods and services, industrial and agricultural cooperation, construction, the agro-industrial complex, and tourism.

During the business forum, more than 50 bilateral meetings were held between the business communities of the two countries, resulting in the conclusion of various contracts and the signing of Memorandums.

According to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH), the signed documents include agreements with several Georgian companies, specifically:

• A contract for logistics services by the Economic Society (ES) "Döwrebap ulag merkezi";
• A contract for the export of confectionery products to Georgia by ES "Tibet türkmen";
• A distributorship agreement by ES "Gündogar Akymy";
• A contract for the export of confectionery products to Georgia by ES "Şerbetli Ak gar";
• A contract for the export of household chemicals to Georgia by ES "Täç hil";
• A Memorandum of Understanding on the provision of insurance services by Open Joint-Stock Company (OJSC) "Ygtybarly ätiýaçlandyryş";
• A Memorandum of Understanding on the trade of construction materials by Individual Enterprise (IE) "Mizemez gadam".
