The President of Turkmenistan has identified the priority tasks for the development of the trade sector.

During the meeting of the Government held on February 14, 2025, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, having heard the report of Deputy Prime Minister Nokerguly Atagulyyev on the work of subordinate structures in January, focused on the priority tasks of the trade and services sector.
The head of state emphasized the importance of keeping under constant control the supply of markets, retail outlets of the country with consumer goods, as well as prices for them. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that it is necessary to continue to take appropriate steps to stably provide the population with high-quality food products.
The Head of Turkmenistan gave the Deputy Prime Minister instructions regarding the continuation of measures to create new jobs by expanding the trade and services system, increasing the number of modern enterprises, and establishing the work of textile production in accordance with the requirements of the times.
