The GS1 in Europe - 2025 Regional Forum, themed "Shaping the Future Together," took place in Copenhagen, Denmark, from October 6 to 9.
Along with the heads of national organizations, the Chairperson of GS1 Turkmenistan, Aykamar Malikgulyyeva, participated in the event. The main regional event of the year brought together 49 member organizations, experts, and invited guests for collaboration, exchange of ideas, and implementation of innovations.

Plenary sessions, interactive sessions, strategic discussions, and other activities were united by a single goal: to introduce new opportunities for establishing business contacts, learn something new, and help shape the future of GS1 in Europe.
The Forum's agenda included discussions on the following topics: "Digital Product Passport – Where are we now?", "Bringing the Digital Product Passport to Life," and "Creating a Stronger GS1. A New Approach to Growth and Visibility."
Delegates were introduced to "Navigating Europe's Green Transition." The focus was also on: harmonizing data requirements for medical devices across Europe, deforestation - GS1 standards to the rescue, smart logistics with GS1 standards, building stronger partnerships with solution providers, data foundations for a connected future, supply chain visibility with EPCIS, best practices for artificial intelligence, GS1 standards-based QR code, and others.
On the sidelines of the Forum, training sessions were held: "Certification in Action" and "Vision 2030: Converting Strategy into Action."
The heads of the national organizations in the region provided updates on their main areas of work, current issues related to the promotion of GS1 standards in specific countries, and the improvement of cooperation mechanisms within the GS1 International Association at the regional and global levels. Participants of the Forum were given a detailed overview of the history of the GS1 organization in Denmark, which hosted this year's regional forum.
Traditionally, the GS1 in Europe - 2025 Regional Forum also included a meeting of the organization's Management Board.
