The regular meeting of the European Regional Board of Directors was held on December 9-10, 2025, in Prague, Czech Republic, via video conference. The Chairwoman of GS1 Turkmenistan, Aykamar Malikgulyyeva, participated in the meeting, along with the heads of the structure's national organizations.

During the meeting, issues concerning the summary of the Board's activities in the current year and the improvement of its work were discussed, taking into account projects planned for implementation in the near and long-term future, both at the regional and global levels.

The participants discussed global priorities, including Vision 2030, the transition to two-dimensional barcodes, and progress on global registries. A special overview of the Digital Product Passport was presented at the meeting to ensure full alignment on the next steps and implications for all member organizations.

The heads of the national organizations in the region provided updates on the main directions of their work and current issues related to the promotion of GS1 standards in their respective countries.

The meeting participants approved the strategic and financial plans for 2026 and also considered a number of other organizational matters.
