On September 16, Seoul hosted the first "Central Asia – Republic of Korea" Business Summit. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov addressed a special session of the event.

The Head of Turkmenistan emphasized the importance of entrepreneurial activities in developing a full-scale, systematic, and long-term economic, trade, investment, and business partnership between the countries of Central Asia and the Republic of Korea across a broad spectrum of areas.

"I am convinced that responsible and successful entrepreneurs, who have achieved results through their hard work and talent, are called upon not only to participate in development but also to initiate new projects and forms of interstate cooperation between Central Asia and the Republic of Korea, providing practical and methodological support to governments in making forward-looking decisions," the President said.

In this context, it was specifically noted that Turkmenistan will be fully involved in these processes. "Our country is ready to provide all necessary assistance to develop direct contacts and exchanges between business communities, and to encourage business activity, independence, and initiative in partnership intentions and endeavors," the President stated.

The Head of the Turkmen State urged business circles to optimally utilize the benefits and advantages of the geographical locations of Central Asia and Korea—situated at key poles of continental highways—and to actively participate in the creation of sustainable transport corridors and logistical connectivity. Turkmenistan is prepared to provide all necessary support for this area of partnership.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed his conviction that the agreements reached during the business summit will be successfully implemented in practice, serving to strengthen trust, expand business relations, and increase mutual trade between the states of Central Asia and the Republic of Korea.
