GS1 in Europe Management Board hold next meeting in Uzbekistan

The GS1 in Europe Management Board meeting will take place on April 23-24, 2025, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
The Board meeting agenda includes a wide range of issues concerning the organization's performance and achievements in 2024, as well as the GS1 Strategy for the next three years.
The regional event will feature a presentation by GS1 Uzbekistan, as well as sessions on the priority areas of GS1 in Europe's activities in the short and medium term.
Specifically, Management Board members will discuss the progress of international organizations in the region regarding the uploading of GTINs and GLNs into the GRP, the necessary steps to verify the validity of companies applying for a GS1 license, and issues related to the generation of QR codes with digital links and data linking to the identifier.
One of the sessions will be dedicated to communication channels with GS1 in Europe and Member Organizations (MOs) related to government policy initiatives, legislation, and association activities.
Management Board Members participants will review the business plan and activities for 2025, budget proposals for the successful implementation of several projects, as well as organization and resources within GS1 in Europe.
Along with the heads of national organizations from the European region, the Chairperson of GS1 Turkmenistan, Aykamar Malikgulyyeva, will participate in the work of the Board of Directors.
